At Mother Me, Inc., our mission is to empower new and expectant families with the knowledge they need to be loving and compassionate parents.
There are many different philosophies surrounding childbirth education, the birth process, and parenting. Mother Me will provide nonjudgmental education and support to enable each family to make informed decisions for a satisfying birth experience.
Mother Me, Inc. was born in the fall of 2003. Director and owner Rita DiRito set off on a journey to share her life’s passion and experience with other new and expectant parents.
Rita had served as the Director of Childbirth Education, Doula and Prenatal Massage Services at one of Chicago’s leading hospitals. It was her responsibility to provide education and support for thousands of patients. This work led her to discovering the need for more personalized care that addressed the individual.
Since its inception, Mother Me has continued on this journey and helped thousands of Chicago families by providing them with exceptional education, birth and postpartum support, resources and community.
