Forward Chicago’s Winter Newsletter is hot off the presses!
You can view it online or pick up a copy at Alderman Ameya Pawar’s office, Café Selmarie, Galter LifeCenter, St. Matthias Church, Julius Meinl Coffee Shop, Old Town School of Folk Music, and other local shops and spots around Lincoln Square.

Our first book group book in 2016.
We are delighted to feature some of our members in this issue so you can get to know them and recognize familiar faces at events.
While some of our programs are taking a break, many are continuing due to member wishes. The popular Science Speaker Series, featuring University of Chicago scientists, resumes Jan. 9 at Sulzer Library.
You can also join the weekly Walking Club, attend a Technology Meet-Up, dine out during Lunch Bunch and Dinner Club, come to a Craft Circle, attend a movie or show, play bridge and board games, and help turn Ideas into Action.
And we’re adding new ones! Keep an eye out for our new directed reading group beginning this spring. The first book is “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing” by Marie Kondo.
We also have a cooking group in the works … stay tuned for more!
Looking forward to seeing you soon — and Happy Holidays!
