Chicago is a city that offers a myriad of opportunities to continually grow and learn for free in your own community. One of the way to be involved in life-long learning is to avail yourself to the many offerings of our public libraries. There are three regional libraries in Chicago and our neighborhood is fortunate to be home to one of these; Sulzer Regional Sulzer Regional Library. Sulzer’s librarians are knowledgeable, helpful and available 7 days a week.
If you’d like learn about genealogy, uncluttering your home, organic gardening, learn a new game or think that joining a book club would be fun; this is the place for you. One benefit of these classes is meeting others who share your interests. If you have an area of expertise to share with others or if there’s a subject that isn’t offered, speak with a librarian. Forward Chicago members have started a Craft Circle, Science Speaker Series and a Bridge Group there. One of our communities greatest assets is Sulzer Library. Did I mention how easy Sulzer is to get to? The #11 bus stops right outside their doors at Sunnyside & Lincoln.
