International Film Fest Begins October 9th!

The Chicago International Film Festival is celebrating its 50th year, Oct. 9-Oct. 23, at the AMC River East Theater 21 (322 E. Illinois St.).

The festival features over 200 films from 60 different countries. Ticket prices start at $7.

Check for schedules and details. Discover fresh talent and explore new worlds. See movies, inspiring documentaries and world class shorts. Get involved and attend panel discussions with directors and actors — some are free to the public.

Revisit old gems such as Ingmar Bergman’s “Fanny and Alexander,” Alfred Hitchcock’s “Jamaica Inn” or Milos Forman’s “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.”

The film festival brings the world to Chicago — a must-attend event for film lovers.

Forward Chicago, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization, envisions our neighborhoods as model communities for people of all ages, where residents can age in place while remaining active, engaged and influential.
